Disabled Outdoorsmen USA (Texas Aoudad)

Disabled Outdoorsmen

This hunt is sponsored by the Mountain Archery Festival 2019 supported charity, Disabled Outdoorsmen USA and will be filmed. This is a fully guided hunt and the opportunity of a lifetime. The winner of this hunt will participate in aiding a disabled outdoorsman or woman on their hunt. They will then have their own opportunity to hunt and harvest an Aoudad sheep.

Disabled Outdoorsmen USA has a treat in store for those who wish to take their hunting experience to the next level. Imagine being able to hunt alongside someone who is consistently motivating individuals who they’re surrounded by. No matter the circumstance our outdoorsmen are faced with daily, they’re giving their all to succeed in the outdoors. You now have the opportunity to, not only hunt alongside our disabled outdoorsmen, but harvest an Aoudad for yourself as well.

The trip will consist of you flying yourself down to the great state of Texas to meet our team at the airport with a big Texas welcome. After the meet and greet with everyone, we will take you to the lodge where we will help you unpack all your gear. The next day will be filled with adventures alongside our group and you will get to experience that feeling of your first buck again as you witness a true disabled outdoorsman take down an Aoudad. From start to finish you will be in the action, breathing in what it truly feels like to aide someone in a hunt that not only changes their life, but yours as well. In today’s world, assisting someone in what they live for, will not only make their year, but it will make both of your lives together.

As the founder of Disabled Outdoorsmen USA, and an avid outdoorsman myself, I can proudly say that every time we take one of our hunters on a trip, my life changes for the better. I will never forget the face of Sidney Smith, the lessons learned from Nixon Whatcott, or the laughs shared with Larry Quintero. Now you have the opportunity to share a memory with our outdoorsmen that YOU will never forget. We will look forward to sharing this unforgettable memory with you and we’ll see you in Texas!

Wild Idaho Outfitters (Idaho Backcountry Combo Hunt)

Enjoy a spring or fall wilderness black bear hunt on this 6-day/5-night 2x1 guided trip for two hunters. This is an any weapon wilderness hunt in Idaho’s Unit 27 in the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness area. A spring bear hunt involves a lot of horseback riding. With a fall hunt, vehicles can travel close to the baits sites, so you can walk to them.

Hunters are on a stand the evening they arrive and for four additional evenings leaving the morning of the sixth day. Spring bear hunts are Sunday through Friday beginning in late May and running through the end of June. Fall hunts are best from August 30 through September 14th, prior to the woods filling with elk and deer hunters. Schedule hunt directly with outfitter for open dates in the Spring or Fall of 2019 or 2020.

Both hunts are operated from wall tent camps with cots, pads and wood burning stoves. Separate kitchen and shower facilities in camp. Included are accommodations, meals, guide service, trophy fee for bear for both hunters and field prep. Not included are any before/after hunt expenses, taxes, licenses, tag(s) and gratuities. Arrival/departure point is Challis, Idaho.
